Hair Loss
Betty Brown Wigs Alopecia Support Group was first set up in 2010 with the help and advice of Michelle Chapman, a world wide Alopecia ambassador for AA alopecia-awareness.org.uk. It was set up in response to the needs of local people who wanted a focus group, focusing specifically on the needs of Alopecia sufferers. The group come together on a regular basis to discuss shared experiences and concerns, and as a forum to express their feelings, have found the support group both beneficial and therapeutic. Everyone is welcome to our York based support group and there is no charge for our meetings, just call ahead to let us know you are coming.
My New Hair Charity
My New Hair is a pioneering charity founded by Trevor Sorbie, to provide help, advice and support to anyone living with the effects of medical hair loss. It provides the definitive training and education for hair professionals to enable them to provide the premium wig cutting service in the industry, providing sufferers with access to professional quality wigs and highest standards in customer care.
